As per a suggestion left in the comments yesterday, another unlikely hero…
By day he is merely The Chair, sitting in the lounge listening to Roxy Music records. But when danger strikes… He is still in essence, a chair.
Write silly stories, work in communications, draw occasional comics.

Back in summer I got a really bad case of tonsilitis (this is relevant – bear with me) and antibiotics didn’t work quick enough so I developed a complication called a quinsy (basically a throat abscess) and had to be hospitalised for a couple of days. Now, every time I go and see the local practice nurse for some routine flu injection or screening test of some sort she calls me the Quinsy Woman, because she had never met anyone who had actually had one and wanted to know all the gory details.
I feel like a superhero every time I see her. “Ah, it’s Quinsy Woman!”
Loving the cartoons.

hehe, that shows amazing sensitivity on her part… I like the idea of Quinsy Woman, shall see if I can think of something to do with that in your honour!
